Nichole is the Director of Diversity and Academic Coach at Alcuin School in Dallas, TX, where she has held these positions for 15 years. She pursued education after being in the corporate sector over seven years. Nichole oversees three diversity committees, Adults, Middle School and High School; conducts diversity training for students, faculty/staff and parents; supports offsite professional development for staff/faculty and parents; and is a resource for the community for inclusion and diversity concerns. In 2016, she partnered with the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) to perform the Assessment of Inclusivity and Multiculturalism (AIM). The assessment conducted researches, surveys, and focus groups to obtain information that led to creating a five year strategic plan.
Nichole helps sponsor the Dallas Area Diversity Youth Organization (DADYO) with the nearby independent school diversity directors. DADYO is available for all independent school students to come and have a safe space to talk about hot topics of inclusion and diversity.
Nichole has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication at Sam Houston State University and is currently pursuing her masters in Human Relations at Amberton University. Nichole is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. As a member, she volunteers in several mentorships programs and promotes physical and mental health initiatives. Nichole is involved with Garland Area Model Mission which supports local families and Buckner International – Adoption and Maternal Services.
